Lifts
A key element in every gravity-powered system, E-TECH lifts make the difference between a system in continual operation, or a system in need of continual repair. Lifts introduce slings of goods into the monorail system, re-elevate them to restore gravity power when needed, and raise or lower them to accommodate building restrictions or provide clearance below. Built to Fit, Built to Work, and Built to Last! E-TECH lifts are custom built to specific applications. All of our lifts are air-powered, eliminating the all-too-common headaches caused by electric motors burning out and chains breaking. A single structural steel tube provides mounting for the main cylinder and all cable components. This design permits complete overhead mounting of the lifts for maximum system efficiency. Floor-mounted masts that clutter your plant and restrict your system aren’t needed with E-TECH lifts. With available remote controls, lifts can be easily actuated by an operator or automatically by computer. Maintenance is kept to a minimum. Our fully-guided lifts require very little adjustment. Air cylinders are permanently lubricated and cylinder actuation valves do not require lubrication. Filtered air provides the power for lift operations. Safety By Design E-TECH lifts feature safety stops on the incoming and outgoing moving rail sections to ensure safe operation in all positions. Other features are available, such as lift cable redundancy and load arrestors. The pneumatic input line to the lift cylinder is equipped with a lockable shut-off valve with automatic air bleed. This feature allows maintenance personnel to de-pressurize the lift for safe servicing.
